Swinging longboards give us some hoody inspiration

Classics Longboards by Txema Mora

Surfing and hoodies go together like strawberries and cream, Ant and Dec, gin and tonic, apple and crumble, and rama lamma lamma ka dinga da dinga dong.

It’s the reason why we think the Spanish graphic designer, Txema Mora, is riding the crest of a wave with his 1960s inspired longboards chart.

Every single lovingly designed board floods us with nostalgic cravings for late afternoon sun, soft sand, big waves, early Elvis movies and ukuleles.

The combination of bold colours and shapes would not look out of place on a hoody and the logos are beautifully evocative of the era. Real passion and love has gone into the illustrations and we would be wiped-out if some of that could be transferred to a hoody design.
