Scrum down with a hoody

Front UPIf you can get your head around the ‘willy-waving’ macho messages on these hoodies, there are some good heavy-weight and uber-soft favourites to be had.

To be fair this fashion label doesn’t beat about the bush when it comes to letting you know who they are. Front Up is a British, rugby-inspired fashion label for men with a range of typography led t-shirts, polos, shirts, hoodies and accessories.

And while some of the typographic copywriting reaffirms odd shaped stereotypes, we kind of like the irony of a petite little lady or 10-stone weakling donning a hoody with ‘School of hard knocks’, ‘No pain, no gain’ or ‘Football’s Fairies’ on the front.

Like your typical rugby player, the hoodies are unfussy, good in the cold and mud, and hardwearing companions to have around. They’ve got some great detailing too with suitably nostalgic and distressed typography that softens the blow of the rugby mantras they use.

Front Up throw in the odd flash sale too, so they’re well worth keeping an eye on.
