Creative publications team up with UNIQLO for T-shirt collection

UT Creative Journal Directions, UNIQLOThe first thing we thought when we discovered this project is, ‘Why does the T-shirt always get chosen for this sort of thing? What about the hoody?’

But then we get over ourselves and delight in the superb results.

Japanese retailer UNIQLO has asked some of the world’s best creative editorial journals to collaborate and design a range of T-shirts for this season.

As part of its UT Creative Journal Directions, UNIQLO poached editors from esteemed publications – such as Computer Arts, Creative Review, IdN, Surface, Ppaper, Design 360˚, +81 and Design Taxi – in 13 different cities and asked them to select creative talent to design the line of T-shirts.

By staying true to the editorial content and style of each journal, the T-shirt line is an eclectic mix of inspiring and uniquely individual graphic, typography and plane bizarre designs – welcomingly free of branding.

Even better the special edition T-shirts are available in stores and online worldwide at just US$12.90.
